Attempt the Microsoft XPS Document Writer program
- Open the File menu.
- Select Print.
- Select Microsoft XPS Document Writer as your printer.
- Print and save the .xps file on your desktop.
- Locate the .xps file on your desktop.
Reset the permissions for the temporary folder
- Press the Windows + R key to open the RUN command.
- Type %TEMP% and press Enter.
- Right-click an empty area of the temporary folder and select Properties.
- Select the Security tab.
- Make sure that all user names and groups displayed on the Security tab have full access.
- Once the permissions are set to “Full Access”, save the PDF file to QuickBooks again.
