The web caching workshop is now in its fourth year. Like the Internet itself, interest in and participation in caching workshops has doubled each year since the first workshop in 1996. The 1999 seminar is hosted by NLANR and CAIDA and hosted at the University of California, San Diego.

All applications submitted will be formally reviewed by the program committee. Selected articles will be published at the workshop, and authors will be invited to a 20-minute presentation of their work. Submissions that have not been selected for publication may be submitted as posters or “work in progress”.

The fourth web caching workshop follows workshops in Warsaw, Boulder and Manchester.

Fifth workshop announced. It takes place in Lisbon, Portugal and is organized by TERENA.
