Sticky Notes recently received a much-needed update for Windows 10, which I noticed after I started using OneNote again. I know, but for some reason, I can’t find the perfect note-taking app and keep changing apps. Anyway, Sticky Notes is now part of the OneNote mobile app (Android and iOS) and syncs between devices. Oddly enough, it didn’t work as expected on my Windows 10 computer.

This prompted me to investigate the problem, and I found several solutions. If you encounter the same problem, you don’t have to worry about losing your records. Here are some helpful solutions to the “Sticky Notes doesn’t work in Windows 10” problem.

Why are Sticky Notes getting stuck on “Loading”?

  • Your Sticky Notes may not load if your Sticky Notes app installation is corrupt. In addition, competing applications (such as OneNote) may also be causing the above error.
  • Sticky Notes may freeze on the download screen if the installation is corrupted. In this case, restoring the installation of the application or resetting the settings may solve the problem.
