You can register for access to the IRCache proxies using the form below. If you'd like more information about the service, please visit our Home page and FAQ.
As of 2004-June-24 you no longer need to pick from the set of IRCache proxies. You will be given access to all of them under a single login.
We are using HTTP proxy authentication for access control. Your username will be your email address, and your password will be generated randomly and emailed to you. If you are using a browser, you can enter your username and password in the dialog box. If you have a child or sibling cache, you will need to configure it to forward the username and password in its requests to our caches. With Squid, you do it like this:
cache_peer random.us.ircache.net parent 3128 3130 login=you@your.domain:your_password
If you have registered before and forgotten your password, simply enter your same email address again. A new password will be generated and sent to you.
